GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

BOOKING REQUEST   

A booking request will be accepted subject to property availability and suitability of the guests. The property owner will send the booking forms to the applicant for completion including the full written Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy. Bookings cannot be made more than 6 months in advance.

ADVANCED DEPOSIT  

A deposit is due at the time of booking, and is required to confirm your booking. It must be received no later than 2 weeks prior the commencement of your stay. The deposit is non-refundable if the booking is cancelled at short notice (see cancellation policy). If the booking is made within 2 weeks of the commencement date, the total amount is due instead of a deposit.

HOLIDAY RENTAL AGREEMENT  

Once a deposit is paid, the guest enters into a Holiday Rental Agreement which will include  a copy of the full Terms and Conditions of your booking. This document outlines the dates of the booking, number of guests and when any payments are due, and must be signed and returned with the deposit. 

BOOKING CONFIRMATION  

Once the signed Holiday Rental Agreement and the deposit have been received, the booking will be confirmed.

FINAL PAYMENT  

The registered guest who signed the Holiday Rental Agreement is responsible for paying the final balance by the due date. The final balance is the amount owing for the full holiday rental period minus the deposit paid in advance. Failure to do so can result in the Holiday Rental Agreement being cancelled with loss of your booking. The departure cleaning fee is taken at the end of your stay.

CANCELLATION POLICY 

The deposit is non-refundable if the guest cancels the booking at short notice (less than 2 weeks prior the commencement date). If a cancellation letter or email is received by the owners more than 2 weeks prior the commencement date, the deposit will be refunded minus a $50 administration fee. 

Please be aware that you are not entitled to a refund of any holiday rental costs paid in advance if you cancel within 48 hours of  the commencement date of your stay**. Therefore it is strongly recommended that you take out independent holiday insurance for any unforeseen circumstances.

* * COVID-19 update: Accommodation costs are refundable if you cancel due to coronavirus. It is advised not to travel if you are at all unwell or have been in contact with a suspected case of COVID-19.

SECURITY BOND 

A Security Bond is required to be paid in addition to the total cost of the holiday rental amount. It is to be received and cleared no less than 24 hours prior your arrival. The access code to enter the house will not be released if the Security Deposit is not paid. This ensures that any damages to the property are minimised and if occur, can be repaired promptly by using the money from the Security Bond. The costs of repairs and replacement of damaged or stolen goods will be the responsibility of the holder of the Holiday Rental Agreement (see full Terms and Conditions). Please note, the cleaning fee will be deducted from the Security Bond before the bond is refunded. The Security Bond will be refunded 7 days after your departure provided there is no property damage or other problems as a result of your stay.

GUEST NUMBERS AND PARTIES 

The property is only to be occupied by the number of guests registered on the Holiday Rental Agreement. No parties, gatherings or camping are permitted at the property or on the riverbank. Any music or noise must be kept to a minimum after 10pm so as not to disturb the neighbours. The property owners can cancel any booking if these conditions are not observed. Unacceptable behaviour can result in police attendance and possible eviction with no right to a refund.

Smoking is not permitted in the house or on the deck.

This property is not suitable for pets (official guide/ assistance dogs by arrangement)

PRIVACY POLICY 

We are committed to protecting the privacy and security of any personal information you provide us.

We only use your information for the purpose of responding to online enquiries, managing your booking or any problems and following up after your stay. We do not share your personal information with any third parties and do not store credit card details. The full privacy policy is available on request and when you make a booking.
